As the Assistant Director, I oversee security operations and ensure that sites are secure, and procedures and policies are in compliance. To ensure preservation and safety to the facility and occupants, I stay abreast all security incidents and ensure all documentation and reporting are completed. I liaise with law enforcement and other agencies. Lastly, I also update security procedures and policies and assess team needs.

As the Director, I oversaw security for over 2M square feet of high-rise office and retail space. I facilitated trainings and delivered presentations. To support executive leadership, I consulted on renovations to provide guidance on security measures. I liaised with numerous other law enforcement and government agencies and provided collaboration on any events. I also provided fast response to all emergencies.

Trained staff to recognize and respond to adverse events, connected with all relevant agencies, neighbors, colleagues and tenants to ensure safety and security of people, property and data. Designed, wrote and trained emergency response plan. Initiated, wrote and supervised two Urban Shield 3 day full scale exercises at the Pyramid and observed or participated in six other Urban Shield exercises over several years.Active participant in ASIS training and on the highly regarded Fire and Life Safety Council. Numerous volunteer memberships and positions including BOMA private sector seat in SF Emergency Operations Center for the Department of Emergency Management. (Many activations.)
