An example of these efforts was a real time onboarding experience designed to support our customers across 30 markets in Asia and Africa.Prior to Standard Chartered, I was the Group CIO for the AIG companies in Japan, leading the 2,000+ person IT team, successfully implementing the top strategic programs programs globally in support of the company's overall transformation objectives.Prior to Japan, I successfully transformed and grew global IT infrastructure service delivery as the CEO of AIG Global Services (Malaysia) based in Kuala Lumpur. As the CIO of United Guaranty, I first helped the company embrace the Internet and start businesses internationally, and later helped successfully lead the company and IT team through the 2008 financial crisis by leading the divestiture and separation planning, ultimately resulting in the sale and separation of the Canadian mortgage insurance subsidiary and retention of the US operation.
