Was responsible for the proper installation of electrical equipment and wiring in residential, commercial, institutional and industrial work sites.

Worked as business manager/financial secretary and was responsible for all day to activities of the union hall including dealing with employers, appointing stewards, representing all members of the local union and all employees within the appropriate bargaining unit, the enforcement of all terms of the collective bargaining agreement, investigating and resolving all grievances or disputes, monitoring and growing the market share of all electrical work in the local union’s jurisdiction, organizing all electrical workers within that jurisdiction and administering the local union’s referral procedures. As business manager I worked and cooperated with other local union business managers, contractors, and state and local officials. I was tasked with keeping accurate statistics and cooperating with all involved entities in such areas as collective bargaining, pension funds, productivity, financial analysis, membership training, health fund, etc. I served as the local union delegate to local and state building and construction trades councils and as a delegate to the state, territorial, or provincial federation, central body, or system council with which the local union is affiliated. I was secretary of both the IBEW Local 968 Pension Fund and the Parkersburg Joint Electrical Training and Education Committee.

I have been a small business operator providing backpacking equipment to local adventure seekers. I provide personal attention in proper backpack fitting and adjustment, sleeping bag fitting and making sure that customers are outfitted with quality gear that will provide them the wanted conveniences based upon their individual needs and experience levels.

Worked as a consultant gathering, reviewing and organizing union benefits information for formatting into an online benefits submittal platform to be used by contractors, IBEW local unions and NECA chapters.
