ESAero has been described as the "Advanced Design Group to Advanced Design Groups." Through its history, ESAero has supported R&D teams in the aerospace industry in the form of design studies, simulation & analysis, custom software development, and rapid prototype manufacturing & testing. ESAero's recent expertise has developed in the subject of hybrid electric distributed propulsion (HEDP) systems for aircraft. Mr. Freeman has supported this endeavor on many fronts. Most notably, he is the primary developer and architect of ESAero's in-house design & analysis tool named Propulsion Airframe iNTegration for Hybrid Electric Research (PANTHER).ESAero's customers include AeroVironment, General Atomics, Lockheed Martin ADP, Boeing Research & Technology, NASA (Ames, Glenn, Langley, & Armstrong), Electricore, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, South West Aero Group, Frontline Aerospace, and AeroCopter.

I was the Secretary of the Board of Directors of The Pad Climbing, LLC, through the startup phase of the company. As Secretary, I kept BoD meeting minutes and voting records and was a signatory on financial documents. More generally as a member of the BoD, I contributed to discussions about company strategy, financial and otherwise. Being part of the inaugural BoD allowed me to contribute to the initial challenges and opportunities of the company, including fundraising strategy, policy making, budgeting, and growth avenues.

Blended B.S. / M.S. Program in Aerospace Engineering with undergraduate concentration in Aircraft Design and graduate specialization in Research. Graduate curriculum focused on computational design and analysis, multidisciplinary design and optimization, systems engineering, and flight test with focus on aerospace applications. Undergraduate Senior Project: Developed software capable of processing raw air compressor test data into a compressor performance map that is fit for both engineering and marketing utility and compliant with SAE J1723. Update the team's oudated LapSim to more closely match real-case scenarios. Many of the issues with this MATLAB code are unknown. They must be found, understood, and fixed. Furthermore, include a working aerodynamic load into the simulation, gather data for this year's car from the rest of the team, and add the capability of simulating all of the different FSAE courses.After the LapSim is updated and in working order, validate the program by cooperating with the rest of the team during field testing.

Compile a complete and accurate cost report for Cal Poly's 2009 car under the guidelines of the Formula SAE rules. Have the report submitted for inspection by May 4th.-Delegate portions of the report to the 12 team leaders and sub-team leaders to maximize efficiency and accuracy.-Learn the manufacturing of the car in great detail in order to write a thorough Bill of Materials broken down into systems, assemblies, parts, materials, processes, fasteners, and tooling.-Effectively communicate instructions and enforce progress deadlines.-Review, edit, and compile the report in a timely manner.

-Construct Bill of Materials for DCHSEO-P1 Compressor, including updating drawing package. This required adding parts to the database and documenting revisions.-Electronically generated supercharger performance maps using Vellum.-Revised DCHSEO Product Specification Document to reflect 2nd generation changes.-Revised DCHSEO Brochure to include actual pictures of the prototype and trial-run performance maps. Required the use of Inkscape and Scribus.-Aided in mounting, dismounting, and record-keeping of supercharger test runs.
