  • District public relations specialist for the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).• There are five districts within the Department and each one covers a large geographic area with unique challenges. My district (District 2) encompasses much of the east-central portion of the state and features a large portion of Interstate 25 and U.S. 20, stretching from the farmlands of Torrington to the mountains surrounding Casper. • Serve as a liaison between the WYDOT headquarters local branch locations and the public. In this role, I work closely with local media, and increasingly through social media, and directly with the public, to disseminate pertinent information on projects, road closures, construction updates and emergency situations. I also serve as a conduit through which the public may voice concerns and otherwise provide feedback to the Department. Our information is shared via press releases to traditional media, public meetings, social media and direct communication.• Produce a variety of educational and awareness advertising; primarily through the design of print advertisements and brochures but also through the scripting and production of radio spots.• In 2022, I began administering the District's Adopt-A-Highway program.
