Dana Rohrabacher over two-years of intensive effort to craft and pass the Commercial Space Launch Amendments Act of 2004. Developed the informed consent regulatory approach for commercial human spaceflight, in which the customer is informed of the risks and the accident record of the operator. Worked throughout 2015 with stakeholders on inputs to the Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act, which includes reauthorization and updates.
