Oversee cross dock operation, including the Dock, Office and Dispatch departments. Our network consists of 35+ AZ collection route drivers, 10+ outside carriers, 170 Tier 1&2 suppliers and 20 OEM Plants. Maintain facility and company owned equipment.Recruit AZ drivers.Investigate supplier and customer complaints.Coach management team with Continuous Improvement initiatives.Liaise with Corporate regarding all aspects of operations.Create and implement policies as needed, i.e. Lockout/tag out, Pandemic policy, Conflict Resolution, Ergonomics, Workplace Risk Assessment etc.

Create daily department production schedule for all 3 shifts.Report departmental production achievement to plant manager during weekly meetings. Maintain department training matrix.Communicate/travel to customer for complaint validation.Drive JHSC initiatives, ensure outstanding items are addressed. Coach staff to ensure best practices are followed.Implement continuous improvement initiatives.Conduct daily audits, including Multi purpose “Layered”, Safety/JHSC and 5s.
