I've always been somewhat of a self starter, creative type and problem solver. There's normally more than one way, off the beaten path to accomplish something - those are the challenges I like. I'm part geek, part comedian, part rock star, and don't fit in a particular category. In the latter 80's I worked for a wine distributor and using an IBM PCjr and Borland Sidekick started designing an inventory management system. Computers got stronger, my system and software got more complex, and then I started making price lists and promo materials with Ventura Publisher.. Forward a few years to the early 90's and "desktop publishing"​ was what all the cool kids were doing (it must have been cool, I was doing it) so I started freelancing as a graphic designer for a side gig. I thought 3D graphics looked cool so started learning how to design those. Then the internet thingy happened, and my personal web page of 3D graphics ended up in the July 1996 PC Computing Magazine "Best 1, 001 Free Downloads from the Web - Best of Clip Art / Graphics Files"​. This web stuff just might catch on, I thought, and started to learn web design. But then you have to learn about web graphics, and SEO, and the differences between JPGs, RGB and a migraine. But learn I did, and the clients now turned into web site clients. Soon the software arsenal grew to the whole Adobe Creative Suite for design, audio and video, and Maxon Cinema 4D for 3D. I earned an AA through the Academy of Art San Francisco for Computer Animation. I started providing clients with installation videos and more for their web sites and that YouTube place. But now it's time to move ahead and grow further. I'm looking to be part of a team that needs my creative skills and collaborative input to join theirs. Full disclosure: I can't type like a normal typing person types. But that's not what you're going to hire me for anyway. But my rugged, chiseled looks will make up for it.
