I have worked at the University of Puget Sound since my graduation from the Masters in Teaching Program-Secondary Education in 2003. I have served in many roles with the University mainly in Athletics. I was an Assistant Football and Baseball Coach from August 2000 until July of 2014 when I became the Head Baseball Coach. During my time as an assistant I was in charge of Recruiting for the football program. I successfully managed a staff of 8 coaches. I have a very strong understanding of Higher Education Admissions and Recruitment and a proven track record of finding and bringing in students to a high academic university that costs roughly $64,000 a year. Other duties I have held while coach - I was in charge of Coordinating all of the Athletic Facilities at the University of Puget Sound which required me to work with student groups, outside groups and all of the Varsity athletic programs to schedule and maintain the various spaces and playing fields. The last 3 years I have been in charge of running the Physical Education Classes at the University of Puget Sound. My job is to hire and maintain Instructors for all of our PE offerings for the student body as well as work with the Academic Deans Office on enrollment management for classes and making decisions on what course offerings we should carry.
