Good Judgement Project, lead by U-Penn researchers, established a collection of mostly existing academic researchers to compete in aresearch challenge.Phillip Tetlock and Barbara Meller’s research have sought to bring scientific rigor to the task where it was lacking - uncertainty. In their own way, they managed to create something that may be more accessible to the broader public than what they encountered when they initially entered their first competition.Good Judgment Project has subsequently gone on to become a spinoff from this academic research to become Good Judgment Inc. (New York, NY).
