Migration project for the Air Force. Migrating Active Directory and Exchange. Using Quest tools. Scope is the whole Air Force and related, about 600,000 accounts.

Responsible for all aspects of supporting customer’s network infrastructure. Provided network engineering support for Microsoft Dynamics system implementation teams.

Managed migration of all company IT systems from outdated Mainframe-based to client server-based systems. Technologies included: network routed and switched IP with point to point wireless and fiber links, MS Active Directory, Oracle Server on Windows Server 2003, Lawson Financials on NT using SQL 2000, MS Exchange 2003. Other technologies implemented.

Provided field service support and consulting for customer networks. Systems supported included Microsoft and Novell servers and Windows-based PC’s. Internet connectivity and E-Mail along with other systems typically found in small to medium businesses. Assisted sales in developing client proposals and documenting corporate support best practices.

Duties include managing a technical staff of nine with responsibilities for maintaining the enterprise Windows NT Domain infrastructure. Components consist of Server hardware, printing devices, MS Exchange systems and Intranet systems at the corporate data center and at >300 remote locations. Oversaw the infrastructure refresh project that encompassed.

Focused on pre-sales of Professional Services, this included proposals and scope generation. Duties included coordination of project teams for many different technologies. Provided billable support for client systems. Led migration team of 10 to 20 system engineers responsible for converting 3500 systems and 300 servers to Ethernet from Token Ring without.

Managed implementation of customer projects from proposal through completion. Formulated plans and resource requirements for engagements ranging from single sites to multiple, nationwide sites. Supervised engagement teams consisting of all levels of technical staff (SE, FE) and procurement teams. Managed client interface meetings.Responsible for consulting.

Responsible for coordination of the Central Region’s internal technology resources, including a technology staff of 26. Member of US Firms in-house Technology Steering Committee. Developed and administered regional technology budget. Duties included maintain working knowledge of the latest trends in technology to advise Regional management.
