I spent a year working with troubled youth in an open medium juvenile treatment center before moving on to teaching math and science for another year. I received an awesome opportunity to become one of roughly 8000 people in the country titled as a Nuclear Security Officer. During my 14-year tenure in this role I learned tactical techniques, laws, and procedures, interacted with government agencies, and even assisting with locksmith duties. Toward the end of my career as an NSO I joined the Plant Safety Committee and participated in Root Cause Analysis with the plant management team. I gained leadership skills through my time at Davis-Besse that led to my search for a Security Management position.After 14-years as an NSO I moved on to managing the security team at a refinery for a contract firm. I wrote training manuals and engaged in Maritime Procedures daily. I learned the art of hiring, recruiting, interviewing, and handling HR duties. I completely overhauled the Site Security Operating Procedures as a main point of my career.My recruiting career with Express began in 2018 when I became a Light Industrial Employment Specialist with Express in Monroe, Michigan. After a year in this role, I received an offer to transfer to the Toledo Office and become an On-Site Coordinator for a Tier I Jeep Supplier, overseeing hundreds of hard-working associates. Over the 2 years I was in this role I watched as my employee count almost doubled with the help of our fantastic recruiting team. I am currently in a role that blends all my experiences and knowledge in many unique industries to help great candidates find the right fit. My favorite part of any day is extending a career offer to one of my candidates!
