Served as an ambassador and liaison for the Makers Mark and Makers 46 brands in various capacities. Conducted regular and behind the scenes VIP tours of the Makers Mark National Landmark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky with the sole purpose of educating the public about the history as well as the process that is involved in making quality bourbon whisky. Worked diligently to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience for each and every distillery visitor. Directed multi layered product tastings for daily visitors and when prompted administered a comprehensive bourbon tutorial designed specifically for spirit industry professionals such as restaurateurs, mixologists, servers, bar and liquor store owners. Acted as a member of the panel tasked with monitoring the consistency of all new and aged product. Represented Makers Mark through public relations and product marketing at an array of corporate sponsored events such as Bourbon Festival, Ambassador Day, Bourbon Chase, and the annual Makers Mark’s Christmas Holiday Open House. Cross trained in all other aspects of the job such as retail sales and merchandising for the Makers Mark visitor center and gift store.

Performed all duties necessary to accomplish the statistical data capture mission for a wide variety of Census programs including projects associated with other government agencies and or private concerns. The source material, data capture format, and the volume of data varied widely depending on each particular assignment. The statistical sources for each project were numerous and complex in nature with most of the data arriving in form of computer listings, pre-printed forms, hand transcription sheets, microfilm, and key from image format.

Planned and prepared master production schedule in addition to purchasing a variety of essential materials used in the daily manufacturing process for Pella Corporation's Vinyl Window and Door Division. Utilized numerous types of software as well as inventory and materials management systems specifically designed for use in a "Lean Manufacturing" environment (Oracle, MRP, MPS, ERP, SAP, Kanban, Six Sigma). Proactively negotiated with vendors regarding the lead times and price of corresponding raw materials. Strategically maintained the lowest level of inventory without compromising both production activities and promised delivery time. Kept in constant communication with plant and department managers regarding any potential quality or production issues that might arise. Participated in multiple continuous improvement and Kaizen workshops designed to evoke critical thinking and sharpen analytical skills all while enhancing the overall efficiency and productivity of Pella's multiple diversified manufacturing facilities.
