Serve as one of the primary resources for leading the Beverage and Dairy Food Division’s operational efforts through planning and implementation of Lean Manufacturing to achieve and maintain specific organizational change and operational results. Partner with the leadership teams to ensure a culture of operational excellence.

The Plant Manager has full P&L responsibility for the Cabool facility. Responsible for planning, managing and directing all manufacturing, plant engineering, quality, environmental, human resources, and materials management functions for the site. Resonsible to meet plant, division, and corporate goals and objectives consistent with established policies and procedures, and to ensure safe and efficient operations, drive a culture of quality embracing LEAN principles, and satisfy customer requirements while increasing profitability.

* Develop, implement, and maintain Manufacturing Systems to support the continuous manufacturing requirements.* Develop, drive, and monitor plant Key Performance Indicators related to Productivity, Efficiency and Cost Containment.* Training and development of direct reports.* Coordinate with Operations, Risk Management and Purchasing to review and approve plans for new equipment installation and layout to ensure operational efficiency.* Manage Capital and Expense Projects to meet scope, budget and timeline as defined.* Drive continuous improvement in all areas related to operations and employee relations.

Business Unit Manager, Sedalia Operations, Sedalia, MO Lead plant through lean transformation, leading to significant improvements in quality, service and cost. • Improved plant operating margins • Reduced plant costs and increased efficiencies. • Reduced Inventories using Pull Systems (Sequencing and Kanban) and working E&O • Freed up 45,000 square feet of manufacturing space (25%) for growth or plant consolidation by creating machining cells and flow in machining operations • Used VSM’s and lean transformation tools to create Value Stream Teams focused on customers • Initiated standard work, 5S, and visual workplace including hour by hour and Takt time vs. production output at all key work cells. • Utilized Process FMEA, eliminating potential failure mode defects in highest volume product line. • Successfully integrated Plant closure and consolidation on time and under budget (completed in 2 months) • Utilized Policy Deployment to drive improvement and accountability through the organization.
