Jeff Jones has during his career held senior positions within the MOD military aviation sector both within the Maintenance and Defence Acquisition fields. He has gained membership of professional societies linked to aerospace and project management and has complemented his production and aerospace engineering qualifications with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Jeff brings to Cardiff Aviation a wealth of knowledge and experience derived through 43 years of experience within the MOD rising from civilian apprentice to a senior manager. He has managed significant military / civilian projects, including programme managing of an award winning Private /Finance initiative and partnership deal valued at £ 14 Billion.Jeff has during his career managed military & civilian aircraft production & planning organisations, Component repair and overhaul workshops, managed teams undertaking NDT, QA, calibration & business development. He has gained hands on design organisation, commercial and financial experience working with blue chip UK and international companies, in relation to conventional / non-conventional acquisition of both systems and aircraft projects from invitation to tender to Contract Award. Jeff has spent the last year setting up and managing a production and paint facility to support a MRO and attain EASA PT21.G certification (Presently under Audit)
