Jeff focuses on the growth and market expansion of specialized products like RED-E-DUCT precast duct bank and other engineered products available thru Contech Engineered Solutions. Contech’s team and products deliver innovative, cost-effective site solutions to engineers, contractors, and developers working on mission critical construction projects across North America, ensuring tailored efficiency that contributes to project success and advancement.

In March 2022, Quikrete finalized its acquisition of Forterra, establishing Forterra as a fully owned subsidiary of Quikrete. As part of this transition, select Forterra assets were merged into Contech Engineered Solutions, LLC and Rinker Materials, both wholly owned companies under Quikrete. Within Contech, Jeff's role encompasses overseeing and facilitating the integration of Forterra personnel and certain engineered products into the Contech organization and the broader Quikrete family of companies

Jeff is responsible for the commercialization and market development of Forterra’s engineered precast concrete products, including the recently introduced RED-E-DUCT™ precast electrical duct bank system. In this role, he and the Engineered Products team work to ensure that Forterra’s precast products meet the complex design and performance requirements demanded by multi-billion-dollar oil/gas, energy, and other industrial projects.

Jeff oversees a staff including professional sales engineers, field service personnel, and administrators who make up the power/industrial, pipeline services, and support teams within Forterra (formerly Hanson) Pressure Pipe. He is responsible for developing and defining sales goals and strategies for national sales teams working in municipal water, power/industrial, international and design build market sectors. By fostering an environment of growth, engagement, accountability, and achievement, Jeff has led the Sales & Field Services team to develop life-long partnerships with key municipal and power industry customers.

Jeff applied his international project management expertise to the North American power industry, increasing concrete pressure pipe sales and installations in the coal, gas, hydro, and nuclear energy sectors. With more than 150 projects in 10 years, the company achieved a 95% market share and increased company revenues in the sector by more than 700%. As a result of his contribution to Company performance and revenue, Jeff received the Chairman's Business Excellence Award two years in a row.

Jeff developed and managed a successful international export market for large-diameter pressure pipe required by large multinational fossil fuel power plants under development in Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe. Responsibilities included tracking and developing emerging markets, and communicating long-term value and ROI for each project while negotiating supply agreements, freight costs, optimizing efficiencies, and managing bottom-line risks. Jeff’s work furnishing engineering and product exports to more than 18 projects in nine foreign countries resulted in significant revenue generation while increasing company exposure in the international marketplace.

Dayton, Ohio

Jeff provided project and engineering management of multiple contracts ($50MM+) to the U.S. government for turnkey supply and construction of Survivable Collective Protection Systems (SCPS) for military personnel in South Korea and Alaska’s Aleutian Islands. Constructed of steel-reinforced, post-tensioned concrete modules, SCPS self-sustaining shelters are designed for long-term rest and relief while providing protection against both chemical and conventional weapons. Management included coordination with local contractors to build molds for model casting, transportation, and shipping equipment from mainland North America.
