Provides and responsible for leadership, time and resource coordination, planning, task management, analysis, and improvements for our projects and team. Engaged during the total lifecycle of the project from project discovery to close out. Working towards improving project design and implementation for our company and for our customer.

Responsible for understanding, developing, testing, and implementing control systems. Involved with development of new and upgrades of existing systems. Primary tasks include: drafting review, purchasing components, network architecture, hardware/software setup and configuration, PLC programming, SCADA display development, batching development, data collecting and reporting, installation, testing, training, and support. Strong knowledge with Rockwell Automation products including networking, drives, PLCs, remote IO, fieldbus technologies, and software. During this time, a customer project required removing all existing control systems, upgrading with new Rockwell hardware and software, and implementing new PLC phase logic following the S88 model, SCADA interface, batching system, and reporting and data analysis. This implementation reduced their production times and gave the process the information to continuously improve their process.

Design, assembly, maintenance, and integration of automation equipment including 4 and 6-axis robotic arms, PLC, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and more. Designed a product assembly line to track, recognize, assemble, and package different types of products. Able to reduce production time of components by removing unnecessary steps of the process. During this time, I was the Graduate Assistant in the Automation Lab which required teaching and working with students. I presented lectures and developed projects for the students.

Responsible for product assembly process improvements, technical instructions, and product flow evaluation. During this time, product assembly time was reduced, ergonomics were improved to reduce assembler fatigue and injury, and product assembly lines were improved to move and trace material efficiently.
