Responsibilities included determining test objectives, mockup fidelity, schedule, coordinating flight designers, test conductors, IPT members, NASA facilities and management, monitoring the test, Test Review Board, Test Readiness Review Board, and writing the Final Engineering Test Report.• Originated, developed, and validated an Independent Research and Development (IRAD) project to develop a Human Modeling System (DHMS) for use with Unigraphics CAD models for EVA compatibility analysis of component designs. This tool was included in McDonnell Douglas’ bid for a MSFC contract and in Boeing’s bid for Space Station prime contractor instead of their own human modeling system. NASA determined that the system would be required to supplement conventional neutral buoyancy testing.
