As the Production Control and Engineering Assistant I lead material planning, production, and engineering processes to enhance capabilities and efficiency. I play an integral role in identifying and calculating scrap factors on each product to support more accurate planning calculations. I also perform administrative functions including data entry for batch run time and preparing purchase requisitions to ensure seamless operations.Below are a few of my contributions at TSE Industries:⇨ Analyze daily yield using batch sheets and excel spreadsheets. Scale up or down commercial batches of material as required to meet regulatory requirements.⇨ Improve operational efficiency by using EPICOR inventory system to maintain raw materials, work in process, finished goods, costs, and manage inventory.⇨ Reduce unwanted shifts to production by normalizing percentage of all batch components.⇨ Manage product lifecycles and generate BOMs for new products and new revisions of existing products.⇨ Minimize errors by changing percentages and part numbers to match new formulations requested by customers. Generate new finished good part numbers.⇨ Ensure accuracy and improve package handling by generating packaging checklists for new finished goods according to customer specifications. Generate sample labels for in process testing of finished good products.

As a Senior Chemical Operator, I oversaw daily complex process operations to program, manage, and monitor the digital automation systems for 14 commercial mixers ranging from 1,700lbs to 38,000 lbs. I controlled pre-inspection processes, pressure and vacuum check, and preparation of reactors for pending jobs while adhering to safety and protocols at all times. I also served as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot and resolve issues and implement corrective action plans to correct deviations. My ability to facilitate effective communication with senior management and other personnel contributed to being able to maintain production timelines.Below are a few of my contributions at TSE Industries:⇨ Monitored and altered chemical reactors using manual processes and Rockwell automation software.⇨ Safely received, loaded, and unloaded, mixed, and blended liquid and solid materials including hazardous and nonhazardous Resins, Polyols, oils, and acrylics according to MSDS handling protocols.⇨ Maintained operational efficiency by overseeing the commercial production floor, preparing finished products for shipment, cleaning the reactor equipment, and ensuring proper functioning for the next job.⇨ Streamlined operations by training and supervising new hires on the safe operation of production equipment.⇨ Maximized customer satisfaction by producing chemical adhesives to customer specifications.⇨ Operated standard and high lifts to retrieve and place materials on pallet racks and push back racks.
