From there, my roles became more technical in nature. As a Business System Consultant of Product Development, I led a team to build out custom enhancements on the company's securities trading platform for external clients. Eventually, I pivoted into the healthcare industry as a Business Analysis Manager where my focus was on system enhancements and IT vendor management/governance. I was one of the first technical program managers hired at athenahealth, to execute up to 30 simultaneous custom integration projects to help onboard new enterprise clients. As demand grew, I pitched a leadership role to formalize program management within the organization. Here I standardized the project management process, reduced operational bottlenecks, and significantly improved relationships with clients. While at Steward Health Care, I supported the transformation of and matured the PMO by implementing best practices that reduced project turnaround times by 25% and improved project transparency/communication across the organization.
