Most recently I developed and maintained a web/mobile bill pay product. Mainly, I was involved in the Java web services and the Oracle stored procedures and queries. I also developed Unix shell scripts to drive data synchronization between multiple systems and report generation in an agile development environment. Key projects and enhancements included real-time funding of payments, real time interbank transfers, NYCE ATM network integration and ZELLE integration. My team modernized the data center deployment of the bill pay product to utilize virtual Linux servers running an increased number of JVM's and decreased database connections per JVM. This configuration change resulted in improved startup times and a 40% improvement in performance overall as reported by clients. Prior roles included the development of build, compiler and interpreter tools for a cross platform proprietary language. The build utility allowed for incremental builds and dependency builds. Incremental builds reduced build times enabling a continuous integration environment that could be updated multiple times per day. Tools were written using C++ and xVT libraries to achieve the cross platform run-time environment.
