Why did I end up devoting my life to creative endeavours?I was born with a rare bleeding disorder called Hemophilia. My blood doesn't clot properly, which means that injuries often snowball into much worse than it should be. I bruise like a banana!Being Hemophiliac led me to calmer activities as a kid, like a lot of drawing. Being artistic ultimately paved the way to my career as a Graphic Designer. It was perfect. I could keep working if I were injured, and it feeds my creative soul.For nearly ten years, I worked as a designer at Direct Focus Marketing Communications in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a designer, I focused on brand identity, video, digital, and UX. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with heavy-hitters such as Nike, Scotiabank, Samsung, and Pernod Ricard, to name a few.My approach to design is very much driven by understanding the business goals and marketing objectives. I have a three-phase method of research, strategy, and execution, which helps me navigate the chaotic creative process.Denis Devigne, Co-founder at VidDay, approached me in 2015 with his idea for VidDay.
