Jeff has 25 years of executive management experiences in financial industry in US and China, especially in hedge fund management, operation management, asset allocations, quantitative investment strategies and digital wealth management. He is currently the CEO of Sycamore Investment Services, specialized in alternative investment services. He is the independent director of the board of NASDAQ SPAC company Redwoods Acquisition Corp.From 2020 to 2021, Jeff was the Chief Product Strategy Officer of Noah Holding (NYSE:NOAH), one of the largest wealth management companies in China, he was also the COO of Gopher Asset Management, the largest private fund management company in China with AUM over US$25Bn, and wholly owned by Noah Group. Before that, he was the Chief Product Officer and member of Executive Committee of Lufax Holding (NYSE:LU), 2nd largest online wealth management platform in China, where he was responsible for developing company’s investment product strategy, innovation and execution, as well as digital wealth management solutions for retail customers. Jeff is the Director of China Absolute Return Association and Advisor of China Hedge Fund Research Center. He was also the member of the Editor of Board of Journal of Alternative Investment and was member of the 1st QDLP Advisory Committee.Prior to Lufax, Jeff was the co-founder, CEO & Chairman of Sycamore Investment Services – a technology empowered investment advisory company in China, specialized in cross-border asset allocation and alternative investment services for institutional investors. In 2018 it completed its asset sale to PingAn Group. In 2004 Jeff co-founded OpHedge Investment Services, which became the world's 7th largest independent hedge fund administrator and successfully completed the strategic partnership with CITCO in May 2010. He continued to serve as the Managing Director and Chairman of Citco (China) till 2015. Prior to OpHedge, Jeff served as Vice President of the Equity Quantitative Strategies Group of Goldman Sachs & Co in NY from 1998 to 2004; and before that, as an investment strategist and senior architect at hedge fund Long-Term Capital Management (LTCM).Jeff holds degrees of M.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Electronic Engineering, B.S. in Physics and EMBA.
