Successfully led the effort to design, develop, integrate, test, and demonstrate a Stryker vehicle with 5kW, 10kW & 50kW lasers for Counter-UAS (drone) and C-RAM (Rocket, Artillery, & Mortar) defense. The Weapons System has been demonstrated successfully in the USA at Ft. Sill, OK, White Sands Missile Range, NM, Redstone Test Center, AL, and overseas at Grafenwoer and Hohenfels in Germany. The follow-on effort, to build 3 additional 50kW versions & upgrade the prototype has been approved with a scheduled delivery to the warfighter of 2023.-Proposed, negotiated, and won 3 large subcontracts and currently manage the follow-on prime contract, building a total of 4ea. 50kW versions of the laser weapons system mounted on a Stryker. -Hired and manage a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, project managers, cost analysts, planners, schedulers, and field service representatives. -Work daily with Government Customer (US Army - SMDC/RCCTO) Representatives to ensure the governments vision and specifications were met or exceeded.-In addition to the Laser Weapons System, the effort includes integrating Fire Control Systems, Communications, Navigation, Thermal, Electronic Warfare, Radar, and Power subsystems and planning the operations and tests. -Work with test sites in both the US and Germany to develop test plans, train operators, and demonstrate weapon.-Negotiated and manage multiple Sub-Contracts with large DOD and Aerospace companies for Laser Systems, Beam Directors, Thermal Systems, Power Systems, Communications, etc.-Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead on Missile Program
