Systems Engineer Principal
Current- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Four F-35 Reprogramming Labs (RL): United States Reprogramming Lab (USRL), Australia Canada United Kingdom Reprogramming Lab (ACURL), Norway Italy Reprogramming Lab (NIRL) and Partner Electronic warfare Reprogramming Lab (PERL).- Lead Systems Engineer for the relocation of an RL from Pt. Mugu to Ft Worth.• Authored and delivered relocation study under budget and ahead of schedule.• Collaborating with JPO to develop and decompose the System Requirements for the new lab.• Developing lab requirements for testing Foreign Military Sales MDFs.• Contract value is ~$150M.- Technical Lead for the Reprogramming Verification Validation System (RVVS).• Developed four System Requirements Documents (SRD) for upgrades to two of the RLs for Block 4 MDF testing. • RVVS is expected to be valued at ~$250M.- Leading initial investigations into adding weapons to the RLs.- Led IRAD effort to develop a translation capability to allow real-time Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic Warfare Stimulator (EWS) legacy radars to be run on stimulators from multiple suppliers.- Led Advanced Development Programs (ADP, AKA Skunk Works) technical effort to compete the procurement of three key hardware components for the Norway Italy Reprogramming Lab (NIRL).• Wrote requirement specifications and Statement of Work (SOW) for the EWS and the Real-Time RF Recorder (RTRR).• Coordinated reviews of the EWS, RTRR and Scenario Development and Simulation Controller (SDSC) with the technical team and Program Management.• Developed the scoring criteria for evaluation of proposals.• Program savings resulting from the competition are estimated to be over $35M.- Authored the Combat Electromagnetic Environment Stimulator (CEESIM) Gap Study for the F-35 RLs. Identified 24 CEESIM capability gaps needing to be corrected so MDFs can correctly be tested.
