Lead Link 16 Network Designer/Subject Matter Expert • Responsible for the training of new USAF, and foreign (under FMS contract to the United States), Link 16 Network Designers in the usage of JNDA and the art of Network Design. • Oversees Link 16 Network development affecting the entire Air Force. Interfaces with Joint and Coalition Forces to coordinate policies affecting the entire Link 16 Enterprise. Ensures all USAF Link 16 Networks satisfy the needs of war fighting forces, training units, and test organizations. Produces design outputs required for successful management of Tactical Data Links. • Coordinates operational inputs to regulations and terminal design. • Reviews outputs from Tactical Data Link Operations Management Organization (TDLOMO) designers for correctness and efficiency. • Identifies, tests, and suggests corrections for the JNDA to maximize efficiency and production of most correct outputs. • Designs network documentation standard to ensure all required information is easily accessible to operators. • Head of Delegation for the US delegation to the NATO Network Management Sub-Group • TDLOMO representative to the Operational Procedures Sub-Group to the Joint Configuration Control Board • Network Design representative to the Air Force Standards and Interoperability Board
