Communicating and collaborating proactively with both the GIS team and stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered promptly to a high standard.In my current role, and in my former Tenures Officer role, I have successfully completed the following specific GIS tasks:• Supporting the Tenures team by completing GIS analysis and preparing maps and data for submissions to the State Government, including expressions of interest, tenure applications for petroleum leases, pipelines, potential commercial areas, tenders for authority to prospect areas, cultural heritage, native title and overlapping coal negotiations.• Supporting the Groundwater team by completing GIS analysis and mapping for submissions to the Office of Groundwater Impact Assessment (OGIA), State Government.• Providing technical mapping support to Environmental specialists involved in work submitted under Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) legislation, Federal Government.• Supporting the Environmental team by revising and editing disturbance footprint data for use in estimated rehabilitation cost data provided to the State Government, including some historical air photo and image interpretation.

• Administrator and custodian of the Tenure Management System (TMS). More specifically, responsible for updating and amending spatial records in Landfolio, raising new actions, and closing completed actions, entering work program data, generating reports, and adding new users to Landfolio. I was systems administrator for Landfolio both within my team and for new users from other business units within Origin.• Performed the role of Data Steward for tenure data, for example, taking responsibility for Asset Areas in Origins Master Data Management (MDM) project.• Facilitated and coordinated collection of data from sections of the business for completion of bi-annual production and reserve reporting. Workflow was created in ProMapp as part of tracking and quality assurance.• Monitored compliance with legislation associated with Extended Production Testing (EPT). Frequent communication with Petroleum Engineers involved in the production testing program, applications and notifications lodged with the State Government.

Assisting the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT)• Completed maps and technical descriptions to define native title determination application boundaries – outputs were of a quality and technical standard to be filed with applications lodged with the Federal Court of Australia (FCA).• Conducted compliance and quality assurance checking of maps and technical descriptions and assessed suitability for filing with the Federal Court.• Completed overlap analysis and provided maps and reports to internal and external stakeholders seeking information about native title boundaries and the overlap with land, mineral and petroleum tenures.• Prepared high quality cartographic output for both internal and external clients at various scales using MapInfo and ArcGIS software tools.• Prepared a Map Book series (ArcGIS) for the Quandamooka Peoples Native Title Land Guide (also included testing a web application for the same client using ArcGIS online tools).• Assessed suitability of ArcGIS Pro for use in project implementation.• Successfully completed several short terms (up to 3 months) of Higher Duties at Executive Level 1.

Queensland, Australia

Completed analysis to establish statistical relationships between measured ground cover / pasture biomass and indices of MODIS image data.• Derived and evaluated models and digital maps of ground cover and pasture biomass.• Completed field work and liaison with producers to collect field data in support of the ground cover mapping, pasture biomass and remote sensing research tasks.• Completed an interim milestone report and final report for an external funding agency - Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA).• Prepared a scientific paper published in proceedings of the 14th Australasian Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Conference (ARSPC).

Cambodia

Developed and implemented a contract-based system for administration between CAAEP and 14 Provincial teams within the Cambodian Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.• Coordinated and facilitated national level support for implementation of Commune Level Agro-ecosystem Analysis (CAEA) conducted by the Provincial teams.• Aided short term specialists implementing a Farming Systems Management Information System (FSMIS) at Provincial level. • Organized regional workshops to standardize, review and upgrade CAEA procedures for staff involved in implementation.• Used Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software to prepare summary maps and monitor CAEA contract implementation against performance targets.• Developed three-year strategic plans, and subsequent annual plans, with the provincial agricultural extension system teams.

European Union funded Aid Program.Contract, interrupted by military coup, 7 months completed.Achievements;• Integrated geographic data with monitoring and evaluation data to map the spatial distribution of specific projects.• Mapped the spatial distribution of domestic water supply, irrigation, groundwater, savings and credit association and micro-enterprise development loan projects.• Prepared additional maps by scanning and geo-referencing black and white aerial photography.• Liaised with the Cambodian Department of Geography in Phnom Penh.
