Maize Consulting provides management consulting and interim executive services to a diverse range of companies. The nature of the work primarily focussed on helping small to midsized ($5 million to $50 million in sales) companies to meet the opportunities and challenges of both the present and future. Assignments undertaken included strategic planning, equity financing (both private placement and IPO work), debt financing and restructuring, acquisitions and divestitures, marketing and market analysis, competitive intelligence, project management and business organization.

MapleCore was founded in 1999 with a vision of using the internet to create opportunities for artists in a rapidly changing music industry. While other music companies viewed the internet as a threat, MapleCore’s founders saw its potential as a solution.With that aim, the first line of business to launch was MapleMusic.com, an eCommerce site that now provides online stores for more than 800 artists. The success of this venture paved the way for the creation of award-winning record labels MapleMusic Recordings and Open Road Recordings. Jeff joined International Car Wash Group (formerly know as IMO Car Wash Group) in 2014 to assist with the development of the strategy for ICWG to enter the North American market. ICWG is the world’s largest independent car wash operator. ICWG formally entered the U.S. market with the acquisition of Car Wash USA Express in August 2015. Since then, Jeff has been a key member of the senior management team and he has led the acquisition initiatives of ICWG which has resulted in the growth of ICWG’ s presence in the U.S. to over 200 sites at the end of 2020. ICWG was acquired by Roark Capital portfolio company Driven Brands in August, 2020. Jeff is retiring from his position of Senior Vice President Acquisitions at the end of 2020.

MacNeil Wash Systems is a leading manufacturer of car wash equipment to the tunnel car wash industry, automotive dealers, fleet and rental markets. MacNeil's turnkey systems, profit-boosting add-ons and cost-effective retrofits have been the envy of the industry, delivering a consistently superior clean with lower maintenance, higher throughput and greater revenue opportunity. MacNeil was sold to Ryko Solutions in April 2013.

Calgary Alberta, Toronto Ontario, London England

Entered the banking world in Calgary after university and spent 17 years with CIBC in a wide variety of roles in Corporate and Commercial Banking. Jeff had stints in Calgary, Toronto, London (England) and Barrie, Ontario, and over the years worked on some of the largest deals of the day as well as helping many new and small businesses get established. Some of the names and deals Jeff was involved with include Enerflex Systems, Pacific Western Airlines, Petro-Canada, Chrysler, Ford, VW, Magna, Dofasco, Stelco, Algoma, Eurotunnel, Keadby Power, Norweb, British Petroleum, Videotron and United Artists amongst others.
