Within the first year of joining the firm, I had moved from Accounting Manager to Controller of this small real estate services company. I reorganized the accounting department, implementing proper controls, writing and instituting policies and procedures for timely budgeting and reporting to principals of financial results, hired Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and Accounting Manager after which focusing more on ,debt compliance, debt restructuring, capital call, budgeting, variance analysis and financing of 775,000 s.f. portfolio of existing properties. I moved from the accounting function of the company to project manage a 102 unit Live/Work loft project in the SOMA district of San Francisco where I was instrumental in all aspects of the development process including finance (construction / permanent), entitlement, marketing and stabilization of the finished product.
