Managed acquisition and redevelopment of commercial properties in Wake and Johnston County, North Carolina. Sample work includes:+ Oversaw acquisition, renovation, lease-up and disposition of a 30k SF Class A medical office property, development of a 9k SF medical office property, and sale of excess land.+ Led acquisition and development for urban infill projects in Raleigh, NC. Acquired and subdivided land "Inside the Beltline" for the creation of single family residences and townhomes; sold completed units and entitled land.+ Served as consultant and development partner on multi-family and mixed-use projects during the real estate downturn on behalf of private equity firms and lenders. Aided out of state investors as a trusted advisor to navigate the North Carolina market on distressed projects.

Oversaw multiple and large scale real estate development and construction projects and successfully led team overseeing project delivery and transactional real estate for North Carolina's largest health insurer. + Served as project lead on a multi-phase real estate development to consolidate operations and increase square footage to allow for the disposition of a former headquarters building. Redeveloped an outdated suburban office park into a sustainably-oriented walkable campus encompassing over 60 acres. + Managed all pre-development activities including the selection of consultants to create massing/zoning diagrams to balance the need for the highest and best use of the site as well as integration within a campus master plan. + Developed, maintained and controlled project budget and provided reporting to key project stakeholders. Provided budget forecasts and oversaw cost control measures to minimize change orders. Interfaced with internal and external accounting and cost segregation professionals in providing key financial data.+ Managed team of three FTEs and one contractor as well as an outsourced Facility Manager responsible for the entire corporate portfolio including data centers and critical environments. Ensured successful vendor relationships and performance to consistently achieve a high level of quality in the finished product.
