RSI is a corporate-level restaurant management software system for independent restaurants. With over 1100 restaurateurs in 46 states, effective and inspiring leadership was provided by being actively involved in all programs and system development.• Led, coached, developed, and retained RSI’s senior management team with an emphasis on developing capacity in strategic analysis, planning, and program budgeting.• Prepared and submitted an annual operational budget, managed effectively within this budget, and reported accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.• Project managed a system with IBM Notes, SQL, and Cobalt for Accounts Payable. The team provided a language and tables that produced financial statements with GAAP standards.• Developed the requirements for a robust inventory system with features such as item usage, purchasing, and a counting system for clients to use weekly.• Achieved recipe adherence and item costing for Menu Engineering by overseeing communication between the three different environments, providing a measurable result for costing a single item.• Project managed the team to provide online access for clients to produce employee W2s for over 1100 clients and 75000 employees, resulting in a significant cost decrease for the company.• Executed the requirements per Point-of-Sale system to integrate with our software and produce over 100 different operational reports.• Aggregated data for purchasing, sales, and labor dollars using all three systems in-house. This provided vendor spending results, labor dollars spent per hour, and daily sales comparisons from year to year, enabling independent restaurants to save money and increase profits.
