Client Reinvention is a COGS initiative to improve forecasting, streamline the supply chain model, and ultimately reduce costs in the client (desktop, mobility and workstation products) value chain by establishing a segmented supply chain that delivers either lean fixed configuration products or configurable for customization products.

Creation of new organization to provide Global Governance, Process Compliance, and Business Intelligence from the creation of the sales forecast, thru master production planning, mrp generation, and supplier TAM splitting and collaboration to ensure continuity of supply for both Dell and ODM factories, and develop the analytic and reporting tools required to continuously monitor and improve the process.

Program Manager for one of World Wide Procurements top 5 Strategic Initiatives. Global cross functional project to build a Supply Chain Command Center in each region, develop tools/processes to integrate, establish roles/responsibilities, all to ensure Continuity of Supply to our Factories and provide Demand/Supply Business Intelligence to the organization.

Provide a 2 week materials supportability assessment. Review customer orders, mfg schedules, on hand and incoming material supply to provide a rolling 2 wk ATB projection by platform, by factory. Primary factory contact to Procurement, Logistics and Demand/Supply for materials supply and projected demand changes. Developed database and tools for materials planning and management to ensure customer product requirements are met across DAO. Communicate material supply and demand issues to establish production plans and product lead-times. Manage materials flow throughout product life cycle. Provide input to management and functional areas in case of engineering holds, material shortages, and other potential schedule interruptions. Communicate mitigation plans and recommendations to scheduling. Manufacturing focal point for any material transitions (new product launches and EOL planning). Ensure ECO implementation plans and deviations are in place to facilitate smooth transitions with zero E&O. Coordinate material availability and determine ATB for large orders. Ensure DSI execution plans are in place in the factories.

Develop applications to support Production Scheduling and Material Replenishment. Assigned to work on problems that are highly complex and may not have ever been addressed in the I/T community, requiring expert technical knowledge and business acumen. Prepare long term systems strategies for senior operations and I/T management. Influence the technical architecture and specifications for internal systems. Recognized as specialty expert in the I/T community. Develop functional specifications and documentation, coordinate communication and implementation and test solutions for meeting requirements.

Manage WTCS Enhancement Projects Team. Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Instruct, direct, and check the work of less senior business systems analysis personnel. Prioritize own work and instructing, directing, assigning and overseeing the work of other less senior business analysts.

Responsible for managing the materials and scheduling function to ensure customer product requirements are met, for both shifts in two manufacturing sites, for the Consumer Desktop and Notebook product lines, as well as overseeing the Dell personnel at the 3rd party Logistics Center. Determining policy for inventory levels, production cycle times, production capacity, customer allocations and operational philosophy such as: Mix Model Mfg, JIT/KANBAN. Manage and direct a staff of subordinate managers and individual contributors. Participates with other senior managers to establish corporate strategic plans and objectives.

Responsible for managing the scheduling and expediting function on first shift, for the Dimension/Notebook LOB's. Make recommendations for product leadtimes, capacity and resource requirements. Achieve or exceed established metrics. Analyze and improve processes.

Establish schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Plan the introduction or transition of new products and peripherals to production and phase out all replaced parts. Schedule manufacturing shifts to meet schedule requirements. Review material flow and inventory to prevent shortages.

Establish and maintain the master production schedule, coordinate with all departments to ensure adherence to the plan. Determine capacity and resource requirements for two manufacturing facilities.

Direct six production departments, establish production schedules, plan and purchase material, and maintain inventory for a 100 employee, three shift manufacturing facility.

Develop production schedules for two offsite manufacturing facilities, coordinate and expedite with purchasing and engineering to ensure on time delivery of various projects.
