I am the co-founder and CEO of Solidarity Wealth. Our privately held, independent wealth management firm serves as a multi-family office to some of the most successful families, entrepreneurs, and executives in the Mountain West. Alongside my role at Solidarity Wealth, I am the co-founder and Managing Partner of Solidarity Capital, an income-oriented investment management firm that operates a hedge fund. Before entering the financial services industry, I worked as a tax and estate planning attorney at a prominent law firm in Houston, Texas. Throughout my career in financial services and law, I have advised entrepreneurs and executives in navigating complex financial situations, such as business sales, funding rounds, IPOs, tax and wealth planning transactions, private and public market investments, executive compensation packages, and succession planning. I write and speak on a wide range of tax, finance, and estate planning topics. I have been quoted in Reuters, Yahoo!Finance, and Kiplinger’s among many others, have published in diverse publications from Silicon Slopes Magazine to the Taxation of Exempts Journal by Thomson Reuters, and have spoken to audiences ranging from the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar to the Nonprofit Organizations Institute to large company conferences and executive meetings.My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University—Idaho and a juris doctor, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law.
