I am a first chair trial attorney who has extensive experience investigating, prosecuting, and settling cases involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Act, and FIRREA. I specialize in cases involving the health care and government contracting industries. In my current role, I have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for the American taxpayer. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, I practiced for over a decade at a large international law firm where I represented several major corporations in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with a particular emphasis on class action defense and claims involving allegations of fraud. In addition to the FCA, I have extensive experience litigating cases involving claims arising under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, Sherman Antitrust Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Administrative Procedure Act. I also have extensive experience conducting internal corporate investigations, and counseling clients on cyber security and privacy issues.
