I am a creative problem solver that is passionate about improving performance, cultivating successful teams and helping others reach higher to achieve and often exceed goals.In my career to date, I have helped to turnaround bleak and often desperate situations by gaining a thorough understanding of opportunities, maximizing available resources and keeping a cool head under pressure. In one instance, as a manager of a production assembly department, I inherited a situation with low morale, disconnected leadership, soaring scrap costs and unhappy customers. In less than 60 days, by employing problem solving techniques, involving others and creating a positive work environment; we enjoyed high morale, engaged leadership, happy customers and actual profitability.I believe in leveraging people’s strengths and skills and some words that motivate me are “You can’t”, “That’s impossible” or the ever popular “That’s how we always do it”.I am currently working with companies helping to improve their processes by providing automated solutions. At SMC, I have continued to grow in new areas working to develop new products to meet customer needs as well as creating and launching successful marketing campaigns both internally and with distribution channels. I also provide training to customers and help develop accounts and increase market share and gross sales by aligning customer needs with our company products.
