Configuration Management / Puppet AutomationI provided key contributions to configuration management and Puppet automation. I identified changes directly, built automated Puppet processes, and worked closely with configuration management team to adapt existing modules, deploy new models from scratch, and update / deploy / test / validate code. -Solution will deliver an enhanced, cost-effective technology stack.

I provided end-to-end IT support / managed services for a range of customers—including servers, workstations, firewalls, VPNs, and ongoing network management. I served as trusted advisor and partner to customer leadership and delivered suggestions on current and future technology strategy. I also streamlined internal processes, improved security posture, automated processes to increase efficiency, and supported internal data center and hosted WP sites. Internal InitiativesI created an Ansible Playbook and Debian template to streamline the new customer package update process. -Cut manual new customer configuration time by 75%—from 1 hour to <15 minutes. -Spearheaded standardization—beginning transformation from "Wild West" approach. -Leveraged Ansible scripts for regular, predictable, automated maintenance. I took initiative—following significant front- and back-end security breach—to leverage automation to split single VM into multiple containers.-Built and presented PoC to improve overall security posture at no additional cost. Customer-Facing InitiativesI provided all IT services for healthcare center’s new office move—including greenfield deployment of all Windows workstations, wireless infrastructure, switches, and firewalls. -Delivered seamless buildout on time / on budget with no unscheduled downtime. -Streamlined operations and grew user satisfaction by significantly decreasing latency time between machines. I analyzed complex, business-critical Linux update issue—updated kernels not cleared, with concomitant loss of disk space. -Enabled critical business functionality and continued business operations—impossible without resolution of disk space issue / impact on key business systems.

Leveraged Ansible to standardize versioning and package management for AI-based voice recognition customer project—streamlining maintenance and improving efficiency.

-Proposed and delivered mobile device management solutions that enabled cell phone GPS to track location, managed and filtered content, and enabled secure app installation on company phones. -Configured and rolled out firewalls supporting deployment of Sprint microcells.
