I am an experienced teacher, tutor, proofreader, and test prepper for students in class and online in middle school and high school. I also have a variety of other abilities, as well. I have taught an array of subjects, including English, language arts, literature, writing, history, and social studies. In addition to these, I have coached students for debate competitions and speech and drama contests.Furthermore, I have always mentored students. I have also helped high school students move into college with more ease with recommendation letters, college essays, and interview practice. As for college students, I have assisted them with essay writing and proofreading; in fact, writing and proofreading were always a part of my responsibilities teaching junior and senior high school.Additionally, I have experience teaching and assisting corporations, for example, helping a (CRO) Contract Research Organization with their business English skills and challenges. Email writing, business reports, and producing PowerPoint presentations were the focus.No matter what is in front of them, I have been able to assist my students in learning how to problem-solve, approaching the subject from different perspectives, and feeling confident in taking on the subject so they can continue to succeed. I know how critical success is for the student, so I celebrate even small wins and accomplishments as students master tough challenges.Of all the students I have tutored, I have helped them accomplish their readiness for high school and college, and I have helped them feel ready for the next chapter in life.With this experience, I feel I'm the perfect candidate for any teaching or tutoring role.
