After nearly 20 years for engineering, sales, marketing and management at my corporate employer I decided to move on to the entrepreneurial world and run a couple small businesses. My experience with the corporate world has prepared me well and I am excited about the road ahead. My corporate experience includes 10 years in product development and 9 years in Marketing and Sales at a Fortune 500 technology company. This experience allowed me to leverage my electrical engineering skills and develop project and personnel management skills. During this time I held jobs in printed circuit card controller development, ASIC design, firmware development, technical project management, and personnel and development engineering management. A transition into marketing and sales provided a number of additional experiences and skill building opportunities including: solutions architect for federal government, industry consultant for retail accounts, business development manager for document output solutions, industry manager for state and local government and education accounts. Most recently I have had the opportunity to transition to global industry manager for government accounts working with teams around the world to drive strategy from a industry vertical position. This range of experiences has enabled me to develop unique skills allowing success in a vast span of job requirements.
