While working for Talan Products, Inc. I have played a role in implementing and maintaining a received raw material weight verification which resulted in significant cost savings and inventory accuracy. I also verify daily production reporting and receive daily finished goods inventory into our companies ERP system. I handle the scheduling of all incoming deliveries of steel and aluminum which is used in our daily production, as well as any truckload deliveries of packaging, etc. I send out weekly updates to our suppliers of our material needs and include priority scheduling. As part of our sustainability initiatives I've had several opportunities to share our experiences regarding our sustainability initiatives with others. These have included giving guest speaking presentations at Baldwin-Wallace College, Cleveland State University and before peers that are members of E4S and the Northeast Ohio Zero Waste Network. I also was able to share Talan's story with the Brookpark - Berea - Middleburg Hts., Ohio Chambers of Commerce. I have also had the priviledge of helping represent Talan Products in an article found in Northeast Ohio's Inside Business Magazine as well as representing Talan Products when they won the May 2011 Manny Award for Green Initiative. I look forward to continuing my experiences surrounding sustainability and sharing these with others.

Managed a dual building warehouse consisting of seasonally active goods that were pulled for customer specific orders. Maintained stock locations so that currently moving seasonal inventory was easily accessable to order picking personnel. Verified all incoming shipments comparing packing lists and international bills of lading for imported goods, to the actual received quantities to verify accuracy. Obtained freight quotes and set up outgoing freight shipments when needed. On a daily basis entered all outgoing UPS shipments using UPS software. Entered customer orders into companies software system and produced packing lists and invoices off of this. As needed, took customer orders over the telephone either from the on the road sales staff or directly from customers. Performed an annual inventory verifying all inventory both in the two warehouses and in the company showroom that was on sight.
