Successfully managed Our Lady of Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles from pre-construction, bidding, and on-site construction with a project cost of $162M. Project was 4.5 years.Managed Cost Control Team of the new Getty Villa Museum - Malibu location. Cost Control Team was responsible for negotiations on all change orders and several large contract schedule extensions. Team was successful on saving the owner an avg. of 15% - 20% on all submitted change orders and schedule extensions that were averaging $1M per month in submitted costs. The overall value of the project was $250M.Provided Pre-Construction services and on-site Project Management on the University of Southern California campus for several projects including, a Microbiology & Animal Research Laboratory and a Residential Student Housing. Project durations were 5.5 years and total construction value of $100M.Managed Pre-Construction Team for the first Stem Cell Research facility in Southern California for University of Southern California. Department was responsible for major equipment purchases and quality control on out-sourced equipment. Team members were sent to outside manufacturing facilities to inspect equipment prior to shipment. Team reduced non-approved material by 30% allowing the project to remain on schedule.On Site Project Management of multi building complex on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus which included classrooms, administrative facilities and a performing arts center.Managed and coordinated all facets of (3) projects for (3) different Japanese-owned projects, including a shipping headquarters in the Port of Los Angeles, the Kubota tractor North American headquarters, and a Japanese style grocery and retail facility.
