I am a leader in enterprise IT operations, implementation, and support, with experience building global teams responsible for managing a wide and complex variety of applications and infrastructures. My background includes Unix, Linux, and Windows system administration, bespoke and off-the-shelf application support, email security, firewalls, and intrusion detection. Recent applications include ICO, HP Service Manager, Vormetric, Sev One, HPNA, ITM, Netcool. NetOxygen, and AppDynamics. I am ITIL v3 certified.I as an individual, as well as a team leader, have managed customer-facing toolsets generating multi-million-dollar-revenues; deployed and supported mission-critical internal applications with thousands of users; and built and supported infrastructures critical to key corporate initiatives. I have been recognized for improving both internal and external stakeholder experience through both my own effort and the efforts of my team. My teams have been recognized for consistently exceeding agreed service metrics, even while operating under challenging internal constraints. In part that recognition is due to my efforts in creating support models and methods of work which put people in a position to succeed. As part of my day-to-day work I have become proficient in coordinating complex changes affecting key services, ensuring that change is performed with a minimum of customer impact through developing detailed implementation plans. As a recovery manager designated via ITIL processes, I have led successful and timely service restoration efforts through a number of major incidents. In addition, I have assembled, tested, and executed a number of disaster recovery plans.I may be reached directly at jeff.muse@charter.net.
