I am one the music composers on the Mike Holmes series "Holmes Makes It Right" which is now moving into it's 3rd season. I am very grateful to be associated with and part of such a high quality show. Mike has built a solid reputation through skill, integrity and humanity and this series continues to showcase Mike's commitment to "Make It Right'. It has been a very rewarding experience to date and I look forward to my continuing work on this excellent series.

As Kenny Shields and Streetheart we do 35/40 shows a year across Canada and thanks to our loyal fans we continue to enjoy great success performing and keeping the legacy of Streetheart alive. I have represented the bands business affairs over the past 8 years including the rebranding and refocusing of the Streetheart franchise in 2007. That includes a successful line of merchandise, website and social media. As Executive Producer of the Streetheart Greatest Hits/Anthology set,"Read All About It", I put together the licensing deals that, with the cooperation of EMI Canada and Warner Music Canada, allowed us for the first time to have all of Streetheart's hits and best album tracks in one comprehensive set. That CD set has proven itself to be a hit with the fans and as we approach the 4th pressing of that product, the future looks solid for Streetheart moving into 2014 and beyond.

I am in the business of writing/producing and arranging music, artist development and identifying new ways of connecting with the audience and creating business for that music. In an industry that is always going through so many changes, success seems to be more elusive than ever but I believe there will always be a market for music and artists that build their careers on authenticity, quality and doing all the work that is required to make that success happen. I can help with the defining of an artists vision in all areas and this cooperative effort always enables them to reach their highest creative potential. I believe that inspiration is a byproduct of hard work and that no one ever regretted putting forth their best effort.

During the years of 1995 through to 2000 I played guitar for one of Canadas most successful rock groups, Loverboy. I toured with the band throughout the USA and Canada and helped Loverboy earn a Gold Album award for their "Loverboy Classics" CD. We played with several great bands during that time period including Foreigner, Cheap Trick and Blue Oyster Cult to name a few. I always enjoyed my time with the band as they were both first class musicians and great guys to tour with. I still call them all friends today. A great experience for me and one I am most grateful for.

I worked on the Disney television series, "So Weird" filmed in Vancouver. I was originally brought in as a consultant for the cast members to help them "look" like accomplished musicians in front of the camera as the show story line was about a travelling family rock band and featured several live performance scenes. That role progressed into an arranging, rewriting and music producing position on the show.

I toured internationally and recorded 8 albums with Jimmy Barnes over an 11 year period. During that time I cowrote 20+ songs that were recorded by Jimmy with sales in excess of 3 million units worldwide during that time. Our friendship continues and we plan on working together on a new project later this year.
