I have a strong background in software engineering, cloud computing,podcasting, and digital security. I enjoy working with diverse and talented teams to deliver exceptional products and services.Most recently, I was the CTO at SpokenLayer, the leading platform for producing, voicing, and distributing award-winning, short-form audio. I led a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to build and scale a robust and reliable platform that delivered over one million listens a week across 50+ podcasts to all major podcast distributors and smart speaker platforms. Some of the highlights of my role included modernizing the core platform with an event-driven architecture in AWS, enabling dynamic ad insertion using Triton TAP, refactoring the analytics platform to align with IAB standards, and rapidly deploying new workflows for nascent business opportunities using Airtable. I also faced various challenges, such as managing numerous legacy codebases, adapting the roadmap to a fast-changing market, and ensuring the security and quality of the audio content.
