Worked Turnarounds since 2004. All have been temporary jobs due to the nature of the business. Worked required lot of travel. Worked with Construction Safety and Process Safety for different companies. Worked as pipe fitter for several years before working in safety.; Safety Professional. Duties included but not limited to assisting operators wit permits, job walks, issolation and blind lists, the line up of process equipment, and safety/permit audits. Performed risk assesments for contractors and process safety. Worked hand in hand with operations. Reported all problems and production to company. Corrected any safety infractions. Performed atmospheric testing as needed for entries and hot works.

Safety Lead. Responsible for giving daily safety meetings, job walks, insure that workers are working safely and follow plant and company safety rules. Perform respirator fit test and pulmonary function test. Qualify employees to operate forklift, drott and man lifts on job site. Check and insure all cranes are setup properly with lift plans and certs. Perform walk thru safety audits with other contractor safety people for clients. Perform company safety orientation for new employees. Perform first aid as needed. Report and document all injuries and near misses to client and company. Perform drug test as required. June 11to August 11: Certified Safety Services. Convent LA. Safety Professional. Blind Coordinator, Permit Writer. Third Party Safety. Responsible for tracking blinds and proper installation of blinds. Issue permits for confined spaces, hot works and safe works. Gas test confined spaces and areas for hot work. Checked areas and issued needed permits. Insured that all work was done safely. Reported any problems to the client.

Responsible for atmospheric testing, permit writing and general safety of contractors. Reported all concerns to Superintendent. Job completed on time and with no recordable.
