To direct all manufacturing activities at the operating level and to achieve effective and efficient use of facilities and personnel as well as conformance to quality standards, schedules and budgets.• Directs and oversees the manufacturing process.• Plans and directs the execution of customer orders on time and within budget• Leads initiatives related to productivity and manufacturing costs to ensure competitive edge• Ensures maximum capacity of facility and regularly reviews capacity of facility• Ensures a safe work environment for all employees through the provision of training and equipment• Works in cooperation with other functional teams to develop cost effective proposals for new and existing business• Actively participates on the executive team to address current and future challenges and opportunities• Establishes manufacturing schedule on a daily, weekly and monthly basis• Participate in the strategic direction of company• Effectively communicate with customers, employees and management• Establish programs to coach and develop skills of subordinates
