Data Verification Specialist
CurrentI created the process and procedure’s for verification for the company’s data as this was a new position for the company. I created three types of verification on a quarterly rotation: Healthgrades quality, comparison data verification (where I verify both Healthgrades data and a selected competitor) and lastly an ad hoc verification where special projects executives request to be verified is accomplished. Over the first year of verification I was able to verify 258,824 providers, over 14,000 special project verification, 19,504 data specialized elements verified and many ad hoc projects. I have helped train two people in areas of verification including, Primary Source Verification, phone procedure, internet search process and more. After verification an analysis was run on the information to achieve the accuracy level. This often was run internally by myself or sent to other available analyst to help speed up the process. I have help improve the quality of Healthgrades data from 88% accuracy when I took the position to 92% accuracy over the last year. I have helped created sales opportunities with my verification and analyst to prove our data accuracy is better than that of our competitors. In addition it has been a privilege that all of my data verification and analyst go to the executive teams and the board members to make company-wide decisions.
