Main responsibilities are as the technical lead for the electrical and control systems FEED for the Interstate Chemical greenfield sodium methylate/methanol refinery in Oregon, Ohio. My responsibilities include the specifications/technical review/purchasing of vendor supplied switchyard HV&MV equipment (SF6 breaker, HV/MV transformer, MV swgr, GOAB switches, etc), the facility transformer and the PCR. This also includes the same for the facility control system, SCADA, industrial communication networks, and vendor skid packages in addition to my responsibilities for checking grounding (and lightning protection considerations), the electrical cable and conduit schedule, lighting, Trenwa (underground cable tray), heat trace design, and hazardous area drawings.

Design construction deliverables for central processing facilities and also salt water disposal sites in the Permian Basin.

Design upgrades for new coriolis meter runs and PLC panels that control new meter skid packages per customer requirements. Serve as the customer liaison for onsite visits, weekly meetings, and consulting during the project.

I program/FAT/commission SCADA systems for refinery substations using WonderWare to provide protective relay/metering data to the DCS and also program PLC's (AB, Eaton) for switchgear controls.

Chevron Piceance: Updated specifications, and specified and filled out data sheets for various instrumentation. Designed single mode fiber networks and splice details/connectivity for wellpads. Served as the I&C interface to the Electrical Dept. for skid packages, etc.

HMC PDH (IEC project): Generated and maintained load lists, one-lines, and motor control lists. Main electrical interface to vendors and the I&C Dept. for skid packages, process LV heaters, heater control panels and motor controls. Reviewed hazardous area plot plans for equipment considerations. Designed interposing relay panels for DCS motor controls and LV MCC buckets using LV protective relays.

Designed PLC (GE and AB) control system enclosures, motors, AB VFD's, and assorted instrumention for ethanol upgrades in area gas distribution terminals.Enterprise (compressor station) project: Designed AB Flex IOenclosures and a Delta DCS enclosure for instrumentation in the field.

Designed/FAT'd custom control enclosures, instrumentation, and power for subsea skid packages and various offshore topside projects.

NASA contractor, electrical design encompassing AB PLC-5's for test stations providing astronaut training.
