A sampling of the projects completed by Johanson Construction includes the following:Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Hts., IL• Jazzman Café : Renovation of pre-existing coffee shop into an upscale café and bakery for Sodexo.Swedish Covenant Hospital – Chicago, IL• Renovation of the Out Patient Physical Therapy Department on two floors of the Galter Life Center.• Renovation of Retail Banking Space into Breakers (Outpatient) Clinic.Loyola University Medical Center – Maywood, IL• AYR Kitchen: Renovation and reconfiguration of existing cafeteria style kitchen into a hotel (short order) style kitchen for Sodexo.• Renovation and reconfiguration of existing institutional style cafeteria into an upscale food court.• Surgical Suites: Renovation of four ORs (7, 8, 11 & 12) to accommodate state of the art equipment and light booms as well as renovation of the Biomed Room, which serves as a clean work shop for repair/maintenance of surgical equipment.• Radiology: Renovation of two X-Ray Rooms (Room 0863 and Emergency Room) for installation of FujiFilm X-Ray Equipment and Room 0845 for installation of Philips Spec CT Equipment.• Adaptive Re-use of a pre-existing Trauma OR into a GI Lab that incorporate Fluoroscopy Equipment along with renovation of additional GI patient care and support facilities.• Facility Modifications: - Emergency Modifications to Rooms 0080, 0081 & 0082 to correct room isolation issues.- Removal of existing Market Forge unit to create an alcove for Pyxis Drug Dispensing units in the 2nd Floor LDR/ICU.- Installation of fire dampers at three locations in the main hospital and Installation of emergency exit lights at four locations required for PFI Implementation.- Installation of utilities required for and final connection of a new Grossing Unit in Frozen Section Lab.Panasonic – Rolling Meadows, Illinois• Interior renovation of Outtakes Café into facility designed to showcase Panasonic Solutions products.
