I am not seeking employment elsewhere. I have been working in IT for 24 years as a field technician. I have been with Miken for the past 24 years. My job involves Installing and repairing computers and equipment, software support and maintaining networks. We are a 3CX phone system dealer as well and perform the installs plus provide maintenance on them. We are a Dell reseller, Microsoft support partner. We like to use Sonicwall devices for router/firewalls and Ubiquiti products for Wi-Fi and managed switches. Both of which work very well. I prefer to work in the field but my job requires me to do a fair amount of remote support as well.I am used to working in large networking environments and small environments as well. I support a lot of medical and dental offices, general business offices and a few manufacturing plants. I used to run a lot of data cabling as well, but now days I am just an IT tech, although if there is something to troubleshoot concerning that I am the one sent out. I had a lot of experience operating about every type of lift equipment you could imagine, fork trucks, and some experience with backhoes and dump trucks. I spent my 20s working in heavy construction, before going to school and entering the IT field.
