Counterintelligence• Provide CI support for Research and Development of Department of Defense (DoD) equities to include CI Threat assessments, CISPs and identification of Critical Program Information (CPI). • Attend multiple security management and intelligence working group meetings with DoD entities and local agencies; collected referrals and followed up or disseminate to other agencies and necessary.• Coordinate counterintelligence research through liaison with other field offices and provide coordination with various agencies within the intelligence community on new or conflicting information.• Research and review espionage cases to understand insider threats with foreign nexus using established legal, criminal, financial and intelligence networks.• Perform counterintelligence duties and operations such as analysis, selection, exploitation and neutralization of CI targets as well as collection and dissemination of foreign intelligence information reports.• Produce counterintelligence and intelligence information reports (IIR), threat and vulnerability assessments; conduct pre and post-travel briefings, CI foreign threat analysis and counterintelligence and counter espionage investigations.• Establish and maintain liaison with local, state and federal intelligence agencies and law enforcement entities.Program/Operations Management• Provide training to all subordinate personnel on counterintelligence interview techniques, liaison responsibilities, report writing and safeguarding and destruction of classified documents.• Conduct inspections with Federal and State level Commanders to ensure that CI operations work within the guidelines of the standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.• Maintain records for all investigations, accident reports and operation reports and briefs.• Establish rapport with clients, staff and local community leadership.
